I have signed a contract and will be working an 8-5 as a direct employee but still working for my own business. Hope is doing wonderfully and mom can’t wait to be back to her “normal” schedule. I am also looking forward to having structure back in my week. I am thankful that I have had the two months off to bond with my beautiful daughter and to work with her on reaching her developmental goals.
It is amazing what a blessing this time off has been despite being fearful of being unemployed at the and I pray that I am able to carry that faithfulness into my new career. This was not the exact path that I expected to take, but I have been amazed with the company and think this is the right move. I have no regrets over leaving my previous employer and have found that I want to separate myself from them as much as I possibly can. I find that when I learn about changes there, I am shocked at the direction that they are going in and can’t fathom some of their decisions. I have moved on for a reason and have decided to sever all relations including those as a client of theirs. It is amazing the freedom that comes with deciding to put your family first and having been able to execute that decision with full faithfulness despite facing your worst fears. I cannot put into words how much it has meant to me be able to take two months off and spend it with my family. I have to say that taking a leap of faith with a limited safety net is something that I don’t recommend that you seek out, but I am very thankful that I have taken the leap.
Mom and Hope have been very supportive through the entire change process and tomorrow is a new schedule for them as well. They have things blocked out and planned so that they are out of the house and learning.
By the way- Hope is doing very well, as is Mom despite her job officially coming to an end on the final day of last month. We have some additional hope with the TPR as we learned that Birth Mom has continued to not be in compliance with everything that she is suppose to do.
We wouldn’t have guessed in a million years how this period would go, but we are thankful to have had the faith to make it through and build a stronger family. It has also solidified my decision to always keep my priorities straight in my life with Faith, Family & Friends first, then everything will fall into their place.
Thanks to all for your prayers during this phase of our life. The next phase is getting use to the new job and starting to make some good sales and onward towards the Termination of Parental Rights hearing mid March.
